The concept was that, in providing the higher level lighting, more people would use these walks and thus there would be a larger concentration of people, further enhancing the feeling and actuality of increased safety and security. This concept has been proven in pedestrian surveys over the years wherein students valued using this means of transit from north to south on campus. |
